- Maureen is a gem as an ADD coach and mentor. Her gentle guidance helped me reclaim and embrace skills, strengths and resources I already had, and encouraged me to own them. Her clear and focused approach helped me prioritize issues and projects and pave the way for growth and new opportunities. Her flexible work style is perfect for short or long term collaboration. She’s always available as a sounding board to help you find your own solutions and point you in the right direction. I will continue to work with her in the years to come. Maria/Mediaspan Communications, age 38
- This afternoon was the first time in my adult life that I was able to converse with another person about my ADD. Thank you for showing me the computer program that I will be able to use; the one that will read back my letters and documents will get daily use. James, age 65

Personal
I live in Decatur, Georgia … in an old growth oak forest, on the watershed to the Atlantic. I am the mom of two adult children who themselves have struggled with ADD and still manage the continuing challenges of ADHD and its co-morbidities. My daughter is an amazing, intelligent young woman who at 25 has a B.A. in French, is married, is out in the retail world and plans a Masters in Linguistics; and my creative, musical son attends college at 23 with an AA from Landmark College in Vermont, is musical and will attend the Georgia State University School of Music and works as a carpenter.
My other passion is that of jewelry design, A Modern Relic (Etsy). I make mesh-based, mesmerising adornments for women and men, fabricated from precious and craft wire, semi-precious and seed beads. I use peyote stitching and incorporate copper annealing techniques, precious metals and sometimes anything that strikes my fancy. My work was in the Decatur Artists Market and Gallery in Decatur, Ga. from October through December 2009.
